For sale is my 100% stock Lava Orange Mica Mazdaspeed Miata. I am technically the "second" owner, but the first owner was in the family, so I was actually present at the time of original purchase. No accidents, never tracked, raced, autocrossed, or modified in any way. Just passed inspection and had car inspected and oil changed at the Mazda dealership it was purchased from. Runs like a top and has new tires (less than 3,000 miles on them) and alignment. If you're browsing this ad you already know the Mazdaspeed history (2 years, fire in factory in 2005, etc). This color in particular is even rarer than the rest, less than 400 units were produced. It's a beautiful metallic orange. Interior has leather seats and the soft top is canvas in excellent condition. My only reason for selling is I use this car almost exclusively in the summer time, and I have recently started commuting longer distances. Due to the gear ratios and firm suspension it is not a particularly enjoyable long distance commuter on New England highways. I'm going to use sales proceeds to buy a retractable hardtop NC Miata. The pros Paint is in excellent shape as is interior. Leather seats show some wear but no cracking or splitting or stains. Replaced OEM floor mats with new Moss Miata "better than stock" mats. Have one original Mazdaspeed mat in excellent shape.Mechanically in excellent shape.Have original window sticker, manual and first aid kit.Soft top in excellent condition.Garaged, stored for winter.One of the lowest mileage, private owner, bone stock lava orange Mazdaspeeds left.The consRear brakes have maybe 5,000 miles left in them, and fronts have about 10,000. Brake fluid could use a flush, it's a bit dark.The convertible handle is a bit sun faded (from top down).Wheels (particularly front wheels) have some curbing, but wheels are straight with no highway vibrations.Car has no noticeable scrapes, dings, or flaws, but it's 12 years old so there are a handful of small dings that you can notice when examining car up close.Buyer responsible for shipping and car is sold as-is. Please note in Autocheck report the scattered "emissions failures" over the years are a result of the car coming out of storage and not having enough time for the vehicle to self-test its "readiness". When the battery is unplugged and tendered, then put back in the car in the spring, the car can require a re-test if a certain amount of miles haven't been driven (~200 or so) since storage. I typically bring the car to Mazda immediately after storage, so sometimes it requires a re-check, sometimes not. Those items are not a result of modifications.
