Just awoken out a of a long term sheltered dry slumber. Just 36470 miles on the odometer and an Ohio title that backs this car as a true, low mileage SX. Original paint- all of it! A couple of very minor imperfections in the paint- we cleaned it, scrubbed it and buffed it and it had the same shine it would have had on the dealer’s lot in 1984. The paint on this car is INCREDIBLE. No door dings, not a spot of rust anywhere to be found on the body- amazing. The interior is just the same- 100 percent original and in truly marvelous condition. No rips, no tears, no significant wear areas- if it was 1986 and you were looking at the interior of this car you’d swear the car had 15 thousand miles on it. It’s just that nice. When we bought the car from its original owner we did ALL of the things necessary to bring it to great operating condition. Included in repairs and work we performed, to the tune of over 1700 American dollars, were brand new brakes on all four wheels, 4 brand new tires, coolant flush, oil change, air conditioner recharge (it blows ICE COLD) and a new partial exhaust system. This car is mechanically excellent- drives like a new car would in 1984- it’s been driven at 75 miles an hour for 40 minutes by us and there is not a hiccup to be found. Buy with confidence. The turbo performs as it should, the Trans and clutch perform as they should, the engine winds through the RPM range with the quietness and performance one would expect. The underside is very solid with typical scaly rust but NOTHING even remotely resembling holes or rust through- this is not a rusty repaired car but rather a beautiful survivor. . The engine compartment is clean and tidy as one would expect from a cared for car. Come see it you will not be disappointed- If you like 80’s import cars like this and you see it you will buy it.
