1978 BMW R-Series

A 1978 R100/7 matching numbers, engine frame title. You can see this is a custom build, very unique and draws a crowd wherever I go. Started as a 78 R100/7 has a /5 front and rear wheels /6 tank, front and rear fenders are Yamaha I believe. The front end was on it when I got it, I don’t know what it’s from but it works very well. Works shocks on the back, K70 Dunlops great shape new battery, fresh oil change. The bike runs great and sounds great, it only has a side stand so it will smoke a little bit when first started, common to the airhead. I noticed this year the clutch is a little grabby when taking off, possibly needs the spline lubed. I have owned this for 6 or 7 years it was my main rider for the first few years now it just sits, time for someone else to enjoy. You can ride the dirt roads and 2 tracks all day then jump on the interstate and run 75 all the way home. This bike put a Big smile on my face every time. I know it will do the same for the next owner. It is a Tall bike 34 inch seat height, also the horn is not workingLubed the clutch cable, greased the release arm, took it on a 20 minute ride ,clutch works fine, shes ready to ride
