Was purchased out of an estate auction (wifes a broker), never had a Corvair so I don't know a lot about them, but I have a good amount of info on this particular one. The mileage is 40k actual, the car had been well kept in a heated garage, and only driven occasionally since 1986. When we purchased the car I drove it 125 miles home with no problems at all. I recently had it serviced with four new tires, new points and condenser, new cap and rotor button, new brake master cylinder, air filter, oil and filter change. The paint looks to be original, or been on there a long time, no rust, shines nice but has 4-5 small chips (see pics), Runs and drives great. Wish I had more time to drive it, but I don't, so I'm going to let some else enjoy it.
