Vehicle Detail

Totally stock, unmolested and meticulously maintained1997 Suzuki Sidekick JX Sport, with automatictransmission.Currently running and driving normally. Low miles, approximately 6800 per year.Easy life in Arizona prior to my purchase in late 2015~~Have added only a few thousand miles since then. 4WD when needed, though I doubt it's ever been used;certainly not here! New Kenwood radio with CD and up to date plug ins,new ignition, new battery, new tiresnew rear door gasket, new headlights & tail lights, new top quality Merino sheepskin seat covers from Australia. Work done by professional shop after purchase:(partial list) ~~Replaced master brake cylinder, new wiper blades, new radiator cap,new battery with new hold down hardware, replaced fan clutch, new water pump, new drum brakes, with complete hardware, new front brakes, new fan filter, new fluid & filter for automatic transmissionfuel injection flush cleaning, new front struts & alignment, power steering flush, added new red flux, service transfer case, front and rear differential service, timing cover reseal, refinished wheel rims,A/C recharge, complete detail inside & out, and full engine & undercarriage cleaning. Spent well over $12,000. (incl purch & shipping) Clean history, fully licensed, WA Title in my name. Front door panel inserts taped near handles, though look presentable; can be easily recoveredfor a more perfect appearance.Electric windows all work smoothly.Electric door locks work, (driver side passenger door lock ismanual by choice; can unlockjust the that one side for security, instead ofall five doors).Manual hubs. I had just sold the car on Craigslist for $5700 when the engine light came on, so I cancelled thesale to have it checked out.(see details in comments below) Selling as is, with radically lowered price. Currently driving just fine, with transmissionworking as it should. Only a matter of if, and/or when, which I definitely would notwant a buyer to discover unknowingly later! Being sold as is, where is . . . Shipping is buyer's responsibility. On May-21-17 at 10:40:24 PDT, seller added the following information: Note: May 21, 2017 ~~Will possibly need a transmission solenoid (#26592-57BT0), as engine light came on, and my mechanic did a full diagnostic, including removing trans cover to determine which solenoid was sending the signal.Transmission is actually shifting just fine; may only be a speck of something creating interference with the signal? That said, because I am a maintenance fanatic,I would simply have the solenoid replaced: (OEM part available on eBay currently for $391.69--from Seller: 'genuinepartswarehouse'.(http://www.ebay.com/itm/Suzuki-2659257BT0-Auto-Trans-Control-Solenoid-Transmission-Solenoid-Misc-/262725330674 This is a superb opportunity for a DIY guy or gal to get a great, wellloved Suzuki Sidekick cheap, and pop in the new solenoid.Just wanted to provide full disclosure, so that the right buyer can befound, and no one has an unexpected surprise ~~!!
