1971 Dodge Dart Swinger BODY: The body of this car is rough. All panels need some repair, none are perfect, hood is junk. There needs to be lower fender patches, floor pans and trunk pan needs to be replaced. Due to the vinyl top, there are 4-5 small holes in the roof that could be repaired if vinyl top is reapplied. The radiator support, aprons and frame rails all appear to be in good condition. The front and rear valances are salvageable. The grill appears to be in good condition. Bumpers are straight. All the tinted glass is in good shape except the windshield. There are a few pieces of window trim missing but the windows roll up and down freely. MECHANICAL: There is a mid to late 1970s 318 4 barrel engine core in place. It is missing bolts and other miscellaneous brackets and pieces. Not sure at all of the condition. There is a 727 automatic transmission core. there is a good V8 K frame. The front suspension is missing some nuts and bolts and is assumed to be completely worn out. The rear end might very well be the highlight of this car. It is a small bolt pattern, fits the car nicely but it has a rear end cover and castle nuts on the brake drum side of the axle (an early AMC rear end?). INTERIOR: the interior is completely trashed however all of the cores are there and look good enough to be reused and refurbished. MISCELLANEOUS: This car has a clear title with matching fender tag, dash VIN and radiator support VIN. It is an ambitious project but is an alpine white, black vinyl top V8 A body that is increasingly hard to find. This car is offered to the highest bidder with no reserve.
