I'm selling my 1969 Volkswagen (SPCNS) Fiberglass Dune Buggy, made into a Dune Buggy in 1969 (I was told by the former owner that it is a Meyers Manx but I cannot prove that), the vehicle is street legal and licensed in CA, it has a 1200cc 4 cylinder engine, cylinder heads have been fly cut for higher compression, years ago in the 90's I began to restore it, but over the years it's been in the garage maybe driven once or twice a year. Back in the 90's I put tires & wheels on it, all new German brake wheel cylinders, adjusted the rear torsion bars 1 click, to raise the rear end and stiffen' the rear suspension, put Koni Nitrogen gas filled shocks on it, and added a Mickey Thompson solid mount off road transmission mounting kit. Painted it with 6 coats of acrylic enamel paint. The pan is good and rust free. The engine & trans axle leak oil (what Volkswagen doesn't), 2nd & 4th gear sometimes jump into neutral, it has a few nicks in the paint but overall it's in good condition. The electrical system is 6 volt, I have 12 volt towing lights, and a tow bar, buyer must pick up, no deliveries. Message me for any questions.
