This desirable early model Pony is a timeless original that was very well maintained here in California its entire life. In fact, youll notice the original booklets which document the original owner that was the first to buy this car from the dealership...how cool is that?! This Mustang is a D-Code, which means it was one of the few that came equipped with a small block 289ci 4v V8 out of the factory. It comes finished in a nice looking black paint that was said to have been resprayed in the 1970s. It holds up very well today, with blemishes here and there, but an overall nice looking car! Options include Power Steering, Middle Console, Air Conditioning (Not Ice Cold). The chrome trimming is all in great condition from the bumpers to the mirrors. Moving along inside, the black interior is in remarkable condition, from the upholstery to the carpet. Turn the key, and the 289ci V8 fires up. It sounds great, and boy does it run smooth. The power steering is effortless, and driving this car is a piece of cake. There are no knocks, rattles, or weird noises...its a tight running machine. The doors close nice and flush, and body lines look fantastic. The engine bay is beautiful, and has been detailed and gone through. The trunk holds the spare tire and cover, and is completely dry and straight. You have the original Black and Yellow plates to top it off, and you have yourself a clean, unmolested, smooth driving early Pony...one of the nicer ones that passed through our dealership we may add.
