For sale by owner is a very good condition 5-speed Honda Insight. Fly in and drive it home! This auction has NO RESERVE. The highest bidder gets this beautiful, wonderful Insight.It has a clean and clear Georgia title in my name and in my possession, and a passing emissions check in case you're here in metro Hotlanta, Gawja, and need to satisfy the local Sheriff of Nottingham.It just came through a very thorough tune-up and refresh:+ New tires all around+ NEW 8Ah hybrid battery from hybridrevolt.com (this is an "upgrade" over the stock 6.5Ah cells), still under warranty and receipt included.+ New NGK spark plugs, Hitachi coil packs, and fuel injectors, and fuel pump screen+ New ceramic front brake pads and rotors+ Brake fluid flush, manual transmission fluid change, engine oil and filter change+ Wheel balance and alignment on a Hunter 9700 machine+ New hatch strutsIt has a bluetooth head unit with four new speakers within the past year. It works great and is relatively high-end Sony head unit (Sony MEX-XB100BT) and Kenwood Speakers on all four corners. Stock Honda radio and speakers are included, and they work just great, as well. I only removed the stock system so I could talk on the phone in the car during my commute.The AC compressor was also replaced within the last year and blows wonderfully cold!It also has a the "Lean Burn Mod" from hybridrevolt.com that results in 60mpg freeway, even with the AC on econ mode.There are a few minor detractors that come with age - seats have some stains, driver's seat has a rip / hole as pictured, headlights are foggy, both front and rear Honda badges are worn or missing, and there are a few minor door dings as well as one pictured hood ding. ----- I strongly encourage inspections before purchasing; if out of town and having it shipped I am happy to take it to have it inspected on your behalf, at your cost. Please contact me before setting up a time and location for inspection. The Insight is sold as-is, with no returns or warranties implied or otherwise included. For the balance of payment I accept cash in person, a bank wire transfer, or check. If paying via bank wire please allow 24 hours to clear; I will release the car and title 24 hours after payment. If paying by any check - including certified check or loan check - allow 7 days to clear; I will release the car and title 7 days after depositing the check to make sure funds clear. If you are flying in to drive it out I will meet you at the Atlanta airport or Atlanta train or bus station. The car will be full of gas and ready for your drive home. If you are having the car shipped, the cost and coordination of shipping is your responsibility. I will make myself available to meet the shipping company. Full payment must be received and cleared before I'll release the car for shipping. Please make plans to fully pay for the car and either ship it or pick it up within two weeks of auction end. I'm a private owner and am flexible; two weeks generally gives you a chance either to get a good price on an airline ticket into Atlanta or plenty of lead time to find a shipping company via uShip or the company of your choice. Car is for sale locally and the auction will end early if it sells locally. But Atlanta is the town of ridiculous SUV's and trucks, so that likelihood is very low unless the gas prices spike unexpectedly. The miles will go up, as I use this to commute nearly 60 miles per day.
