Up for auction is a 2002 Ford Taurus that was purchased by the Town of Webster Police Dept. in 2003. This was utilized by the Detective Bureau and has only 60,000 miles on it. This was replaced with a newer vehicle. It still runs pretty descent, and has good tires on it. The car just passed inspection in January of 2017. as you can see from the pics the body is not in bad shape for its age. there are a few dings and dents, and a few rust spots. you will also see that the clear coat is flaking off in some spots. The car has been well maintained and has never given us any trouble. This was one of two Taurus's purchased together. this one has 1,200 miles on it. Both vehicles were purchased with rebuildable titles, and that is what they will be sold with. There is no warranty with this vehicle. It is sold "as is". it can be inspected in the front parking lot of the Webster Police Station. There will be no test drives and no one will be available to come out and show you around it.
