I am putting up for auction my 1999 Porsche Boxster convertible. The car runs great and is a blast to drive. It has the 2.5 liter six cylinder engine with a five speed gear box. The black cloth convertible top goes up and down with out any problems. The black paint is in very good shape, with a couple of minor dents on the car in a couple of places. It has grey leather interior which shows normal wear for a sixteen year old car. There is no splits or tears in the leather. I bought this car back in January, at the Mecum auction in Kissimmee FL. I had a very good time,but ended up buying this souvenir while I was there. I got caught up in the bidding and won. I wasn't planning on buying a Porsche that day, but did. Easy to do at one of their events. Since I already have a convertible and do not need two of them so I need to sell this car. I used money from my start up business funds to pay for the car. I need to get that money back in the bank. The car comes with the car fax and a clear title. Like I said earlier I have been driving the car on weekend cruises to the beach and has been running great. The odometer is showing just over 89000 miles. I have never owned a Porsche before, so I am not familiar with the ins and outs of the car. The tires are in very good shape, with little wear on them. Besides what I have described and the car fax, I do not know the history behind the car. The car fax and the owners manuals, that were in the car are included. There are three Porsche emblems missing on the center caps on the wheels. If you are not comfortable with what I describe, please do not bid. The car sells as is with no guarantees. I am setting a reserve, but if the bidding gets close to it , I may lower the reserve. Just remember, it is a Porsche it is a convertible and is black, it doesn't get much cooler then that. You will get a fun little sports car , for not a whole lot of money. These Porsche Boxsters are a great value right now. In a few years( like a lot of other classic cars) prices may go up on these cars. Who would have thought 10 years ago or more that the prices on the old Porsche 914 would increase in price.
