Here is the one you've been waiting for guys. There is just no substitution for low miles. 192 a year to be exact! This is an original Indiana bike with Indiana title, it has spent it's whole life within a 40 mile radius or less. This bike is gorgeous and is simply a joy to ride. Extremely nice black paint with some minute chips or tiny scratches. Gold striping is in great shape and is a nice touch on the black...Smokey and the Bandit bike? All factory with no modifications, even has factory (I think) cruise control! Starts right up, shifts through the gears with no slippage, no hesitation, no vibrations. It is big and powerful, brakes work perfect due to the previous owner having the whole system flushed and rebuilt. The receipt in the picture shows the shop did the brake work, cleaned out the fuel tank, fixed a blown fuse, spark plugs, and removed the accessory bags from the rear (these were not any good), total $761.13. I do have the Windjammer SS fairing, king/queen seat which is perfect, rear rack, and front chrome caliper covers...all comes with the bike. Tires are in excellent shape with good tread and no cracking. They are matching Dunlop Elite II's. There is one key, owner's manual (tray has a crack and I don't have the tool kit), Windjammer brochure and manual too. EVERYTHING works as it should, all lights, signals, signal clicker, horns, gauges, seat is perfect. The radiator had a pin hole in it so I took it to a radiator shop, they repaired it and could not believe how clean it was for 39 years old, so it has new 50/50 Prestone in it. While the radiator was out I removed the timing belt covers and polished them up. The timing belt still looks new and I took pictures of it and the inside of the covers to show their condition, available upon request. The exhaust appears to be original and has no holes or rust other than some surface stuff. Look closely at the pictures because they are the best description. The front fender has some light rust spots that may come out and the front lower forks could use some cleaning up or polishing. I don't know how or have the ability to remove them or I would have done it. Engine number GL1E-4018498. If you want additional pictures I can text them to you. I wanted to add some more details: the clear plastic covering is still on the clutch and brake levers. The crash bars do have some rust on the inner surfaces, looks like you have to take off the exhaust to remove them, I'll leave that for the next owner to do if they want. On the top of the speedometer and tach there are some small rub spots, looks like something rubbed there when the fairing was on, maybe a bag? I can send a picture via text or email. I think the grips have been changed by looking at some other listings on here. I don't know how old the battery is but it looks fairly new and never misses a beat, bike turns over quickly to start, cold or hot. I am very proud of this bike, love the way it looks and rides, bikes like this one are getting harder and harder to find. All original, engine has never been apart, they're only like this once. If you buy it and don't want it when you come to get it you don't have to take it, I will refund your full deposit, that is how sure I am you will love it and be proud to own it as well. I want to emphasize this bike is turnkey, it does not need the carbs cleaned and tuned, an oil change, doesn't need tires or a seat cover, and doesn't need new brakes or calipers rebuilt. Keep all that in mind when looking at similar, cheaper, bikes.
