Vehicle Detail
This is a rare original owner car ordered to develop into a competition prototype to compete against the circuit racing Miata. G.M. closed Pontiac before the car was even shipped. The car is perfect. It has no scratches, dents, or wear of any kind. It has won in 6 out of 8 car shows. It was selected to represent Pontiac at the 2015 Autorama. (see picture) It has 26,000 miles driven to school assignments by myself. It has never been in the rain or any type of competition. It is all stock with no hot rodding or modifications - only standard equipment including two GM performance upgrades. GM designed the Solstice from GM shelf parts such as a Buick engine, Cadillac rear axle assembly, and a German Opel transmission and chassis - all GM cars with no shortage of parts. This is one of the most rigid cars I have owned. It is very tight and an excellent driving car. I firmly believe it outdrives my former Corvette and present 2006 GTO. There are plenty of pictures to substantiate this profile. I am only selling because I have other cars and I don't have the sufficient storage I have had in the past. It can be placed on my shop lift to view the entire car. This is a modern day classic car that will continue to appreciate. I am the original owner, and the car has been a constant winner in car shows, and will now provide a modest reserve that will allow for continued appreciation, as well as an excellent car to be driven for pleasure. Also notice the side vents on the fenders for release of engine heat. I don't know of any other Solstice that has these real vents. On May-18-17 at 07:31:45 PDT, seller added the following information: This is a special modern day classic car with a rare opportunity for above average appreciation, as well as a great driving fun car.
