Vehicle Detail
2 you are bidding on 2 bikes I had purchase 6 at one time, I have restored and sold 4, each selling for $1100. These are rusty with sized engines (just like mine were). Easy to take apart, sand, paint, add seals to forks for $2.00,, New carbs are $25.00 off the web, (I have 2-3 extra included) When I did the first two. they did not need any thing but cables, and levers. Everything else is usable just like these. one will need new header pip, , and both need seat covers, ( one cover included) Tires, rubber parts and Batteries ( I used the emergency light batteries for $10.00) Every part is available for these off Ebay and Dratv .The engines come apart easily (two bolts hold the engine in the frame) Pistons and rings are available I am including extra Pistons and carbs, clutch, and a complete other engine bottom end and trans.. THESE are the 8 Speed dual range transmissions, There are 3 boxes of extra parts, these are 90% complete. Easy project, wheels are rusty, need to be painted. Located near Scranton Pa, Pick up only...One has, turn signals, one has wiring for turn signals, have wiring diagrams, Easy to get titles for, antique insurance about $10.00 per year. Make into pit bikes or street bikes. Parts alone from the bikes are worth well over 500.00 if you dont want to restore them. Easy to restore, take apart, sand, primer. add seals on forks, sand blast the wheels, paint all reassemble (motors are generally stuck pistons from lack of use or lack of oil. (both bikes engine have been been squirted into pistons often using "PB Blaster".) Good project, takes about 12 hrs per bike to get on the road.
