This car is RUST FREE : it was sold in the south and has been in the South its entire life. I purchased this little Truck in 11 of 2014. at the time that I purchased the car I also purchased a 5 yr. 100,000 mi. warranty from the dealership. I was told that the warranty is transferable to the new owner and the from what I can read and understand the warranty reads that it is transferable to a new buyer. I paid a lot of $ for the warranty because I had planned on keeping the car for a long time. The warranty is not included in this auction or listing but it is a free gift to the winning bidder / new owner from me and I will assist in any way that I can but I am selling the car / truck on a ( as is ) bases with the agreement that the new owner / winning bidder is fully responsible to transfer the free warranty into their name. If you bid on the car or buy the car you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, do not bid on or buy the car. Some basic info on the Warranty. I will give (free of charge) to the winning bidder / new owner a copy of the warranty paper with all the warranty info that I have in my possession upon full payment of the car. The warranty fully discloses the terms and conditions of the warranty and any and all warranty claims that I may make out of ignorance or mistake in no way affect the sale or price of the car because it is a free gift from me to the winning buyer. The original warranty includeds 5 yr. or 100,000 mi coverage and that was roughly 2.5 yr ago and 11,000 mi ago so there is roughly 2.5 yr. or 89,000 mi. left on the warranty: The warranty form states that it includes the following items : . Powertrain including Engine, Transmission and Transfer Case. . Electrical System. . AC System. . Fuel System.. Roadside Assistance including flat tire change, Out of gas assistance, Jumpstart, Lock out Service, Towing. I have never transferred a auto warranty to a new owner and I am pretty sure that it will be a easy process but I don’t know for sure. That is what I am not including the warranty in this auction but it will be a free gift to the winning buyer from me upon full payment of the car. I have included some pictures of the parts of the free warranty that may be of interest to a potential buyer. Maintenance records : New Paint : A yr or so ago I was filling up the car at a gas station and while I was at the gas station a lady in a SUV hit the front left side of the bumper hard enough to cause the airbag to inflate. ( this incident might show up in a car facts report but I am not sure because I never checked ) The bumper and airbag had to be replaced and I decided to have the entire car professionally repainted at the time of the bumper repair becuse I wanted to make sure that the new paint on the bumper was a perfect match to the rest of the car. The car had a few minor scratches and small dents and these were all professionally fixed at the time of the new paint. I also had the them install new headlights and fog lamps and the car looks very nice and the exterior is in perfect condition. Interior : Interior is in good condition except for a small tear at the seam in the drivers seat. ( see pictures ) Radio CD player : It has a updated CD player. Mechanical : 1. The tires are in pretty good condition and have roughly 50-60% tread left. 2. The Timing Belt was replaced and it has only a couple hundred miles on the new timing belt. 3. There is a small oil leak that drips onto the exhaust and when the car sits for a long time and at startup the oil on the exhaust will burn off when the exhaust heats up and causes smoke to come out from under the car. After the oil is burned off the smoke stops. In the past yr. I have driven the car very little and I have never noticed a oil puddle on the concrete under the car. It appears to be a very small leak and when the car is driven daily the oil leak is not noticeable. I have only noticed the leak after it sits for a long time and then I start the car up. I had my mechanic check it out and he said it is minor and recommended that I leave it alone. I have occasionally added 1/8 or 1/4 qt of oil between oil changes and I believe that is the amount that is dripping onto the exhaust. 4. I had the transmission serviced and the transmission oil and filter changed roughly 6,000 mi ago. The car can be changed from AWD All Wheel Drive or 4x4 mode to Front wheel drive only and in Front Wheel drive mode, it gets up to 26 MPG with premium gas. In AWD it gets around 24-25 MPG. On May-08-17 at 13:08:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I have attached a recent service Invoice for the Baja. I had forgotten that I had this stuff done and I will also type out what was done because the Invoice is a little hard to read.. Service Date : 8/10/16 1. Service the transmission as requested by the customer. Change the filter and fluid.2. Change the oil and filter.3. R&R (remove & replace) right CV axle. 4. R&R (remove & replace) the fuel filter. Air filter was ok.5. Road test engine shutter. 6. Back pressure was OK.7. Check timing belt. It is a Day brand and it is out of timing. R&R (remove & replace) timing belt with a Subaru brand. ( i had it replace after i purchased it and they used a Dayco brand timing belt and it caused the timing to be off a little. Even though it was only 10,000 mi ago I had them replace it with a Subaru brand timing belt ) 8. Recheck , OK.9. Replace both outer belts.10. Replace the radiator with a customer supplied part. ( it had a very slow leak and had to be topped off every few thousand mi so I had it replaced. ) 11. Refil with antifreeze.12. Road test ok. 13. R&R (remove & replace) plugs & wires. Invoice Total Amount $953.76 I have also had other maintenance things done and will supply the Invoices with the warranty papers to the buyer.
