1976 MGB ORIGINAL 1976 MGB ORIGINAL 1976 matching numbers, unmolested, MGB Roadster still in its original paint. has sat covered, in a garage for last 20 years. The exterior has no crashes or major rust though does have some surface rust . The chrome trim is un mangled and has good shine to it. The doors all open and shut very nicely and the glass is clear and not cracked. Four good wheels with MG crested caps and chrome trim rings, that should clean up with some work although the tires hold air OK for 20 years old. The interior has not aged well it is all there but most needs to be redone door panels are not bad but seats and dash have tears carpet only good for using for patterns. The dash is in fair condition except for one area The interior electrical is not working at the moment. The horn, wipers, brake lights, sidelights, reverse lights, headlights do not work. Might be a fuse The trunk is complete with a spare tire, light also works. . The engine sounds healthy without any unwanted noises, shows good oil pressure 75 80 psi and it does not overheat. The speedo and tach both seem to read accurately. The steering is tight and responsive, and the gearbox feels good, and easily shifts in and out from gear to gear. The clutch has been rebuilt but still needs to be bled takes a few pumps to get it to disengage. The brakes are responsive The pedal is firm and it pulls up straight. Recently had , upper and lower radiator hoses, fuel pump, new battery ,water pump , fan belt, battery terminals both clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder and fuel filter and some fuel lines. . Top needs to be replaced however I removed it from the car and have all mounting brackets and hardware Bows and clamps all there in good shape Bid with confidence As always, I would advise inspecting the car in person if at all possible.
