I am listing this rare 1970 Boss 302 Mustang for a friend. This Boss comes factory equipped with the W-Code( Drag Pack) 4.30 Locking Rear Axle. External Oil Cooler and Rev limiter. 4 Speed Close Ratio Trans. Rare Code 6 Paint. Full Marti Report Statistics say one car was ordered code 6 paint (Bright Blue Metallic). Full restoration in 1996, 133 miles documented miles since, 63682 miles believed to be accurate. Block- DOZE 6015B Date is 9H26 (69-AUG.26) Vin on Block-7371Heads. DOZE 6090A Date 9J29 (69-OCT.29) Both heads made on the same dayIntake C9ZE 9424-E 7-21-69This fully restored car was in a private collection until it received minor flood damage about 5 years ago. About 14 inches of water stained the bottom of car ,carpet, and trunk. The car sat outside several years. The rare numbers matching motor easily turns over by hand. The car is very solid throughout but has surface rust on bottom of car and and trunk. Floors have surface rust but are very solid as are the torque boxes and rails. A new gas tank was purchased and is in the pictures. The bottom of front fenders and doors have paint bubbles and hood has some blemishes and there is a mouse hole in the headliner. Most of the car is still original except for one repaint which is still beautiful. Interior is in great shape. Please know the Boss will have to be completely gone through to bring it back to its pampered lifestyle as most of the cars mechanics will need inspected and completely gone through or restored battery, hoses, belts, brakes, fuel system. drive line, etc. And of course, dates and numbers and vin. on motor, and carb all line up. This is a very nice find of the 1970 Boss 302. Fords Street Legal Race Car that won the 1970 Trans Am Championship.
