Initially it hit the market with a 5.3L V8 with 300hp. Although that engine was pretty exciting for Chevy Truck Enthusiasts with performance looking at a 7.7 second 0-60mph and quarter mile at 15.9 seconds and 86.4 mph, when Chevrolet introduced the 6.0L LS2 engine in 2005 (like this truck) the 5.3L didn't look so special anymore. With an outstanding 90hp boost to 390hp and a 0-60mph at 5.29 seconds, the new 2005 SSR was officially a HOTROD TRUCK. Now, enter this 2005 spotless mint condition SUPERCHARGED SSR. If 390hp wasn't enough as power is always king in the automobile venacular...this ONE OWNER SuperSportRoadster is packing over 514 horse power...enough to embarrass most Corvette owners. Slide a set of Nitto DOT approved Extreme Drag tires in the rear and putting down 514 horse power is going to send even the most taunting drag opponents to that little boy's bathroom to change their pants. The original owner of this car spent some serious coin upgrading this SSR without turning it into a clown truck. First, he spent nearly $10k on the installation of the Magnuson supercharger, a highly touted and very expensive and competent solid unit that develops an additional 100 horse power then installed a FIPK2 Injection/Intake Kit for another 14 more horse and $500, opened up the exhaust with Magnaflow another $350 then spent over $500 on Eibach lowering springs to give it the hotrod stance. Had to have stopping power with cooler running brakes so he spent another $1000 on slotted and drilled rotors all the way around... Give it some icing on the exterior with some very expensive Lorenzo 20" Chrome wheels that cost over a grand too...and he didn't stop there either...put in a Parrot Bluetooth kit and she's about all the SuperSportRaodster anyone would hope to have. Yes, the math of what we know is probably close to $15k with installation costs... Now just take a look at the SSR and let your bidding decide if you really want the SuperCharged SSR. This is one of those vehicles that I always want to find for my market...a true One Owner...with service history from brand new which comes with the truck and a perfect Carfax/AutoCheck history showing no accidents or problems. But so much more than just that is the condition of this truck. I go to the auctions every week and have been doing so during my career spanning nearly 30 years...I know the one percenters. The vehicles that cross the line of average and soar to well above average condition are what I go for. Cars that haven't been repainted, beat to death or abused in any way...I want the vehicles that show PRIDE of OWNERSHIP. Extreme dedication to care, upgrades and maintenance. The original factory paint is outstanding on this vehicle...hardly a noticeable blemish anywhere to be found. No scratches, dents or chips that stand out to any degree to disappoint. Not Flawless, but pretty damn close. Performance? There is a reason the owner put on those 275/40R20 Nitto Extreme Drag radials DOT approved for street driving. TRACTION. with a supercharged LS2 6.0L punching out over 514 horse power and over 500 foot pound of torque, this tire shredding hotrod has to make contact with the road. Blistering speed is exactly what you feel when you throttle the gas pedal with authority. As with all superchargers, speed and power don't let up unless you let up... The speed and power this truck produces is that kind of power that sends you back into those sports seats and raises a big smile on your face kind of power. May I suggest a radar detector for those who don't know how to manage their right foot accordingly...you'll want it with this SSR. Perfect Curves are what this truck was designed to bring out...and out came the curves for sure. Part of what we do and Viva Las Vegas Autos is living our passion. I like the coolest cars and trucks out there...love photography...especially of the cars and models...it's really what I get to keep from what I do. Models come from all over to do photo shoots with me and our cars... They also get to keep these images for their portfolios too. It's a win win for all of us...but there are those on eBay that find my marketing a bit too risque and I am sorry for that but a vast majority of our buyers love our presentations and they do get to keep the pictures if they end up buying the cars. Please just refrain from negative mean comments about the girls. All of our models are super nice individuals with careers and modeling is a passion for them too. There are usually less than 12 pictures of the girls compared to almost 200 pictures of every inch of the vehicles to show condition and full visual disclosure. So don't get stuck on the model pictures...get to the rest of the pictures to enjoy winning this vehicle if you want the best of the best out there.
