The fixed shipping cost would include shipping, customs duties and paperwork, EPA/DOT/CBP clearances in the USA, customs brokerage fees, and everything else. A restored, entirely rust-free, one-owner vehicle that has always been in excellent condition and which has been recently restored inside and out to a high standard. This is the last of the official Land Rover Santanas, built in the final year of the licenses agreement with Solihull from CKD's, and represents the ultimate evolution of the official Land Rover Series III with touches like roll up windows and full, sculpted door panels. Bodywork is straight and free of damage and paintwork shines beautifully. Curb appeal is outstanding, and the attention to detail is very high. This is a very clean 109, in arguably the most sought-after body style for general use. Interior is excellent, with the front seats recently reupholstered over new foams, and the second row remaining original and undamaged, save for some light staining to the cloth center sections. There are no cracks in the dashboard or door panels, and all lights and gauges work as intended. There are no rear jump seats installed, but they could easily be fitted, increasing the passenger capacity from the current six to as many as ten people. But in the current configuration, there is comfortable room for five plus a great deal of cargo space in the rear. As with all Series Land Rovers, the upper bodywork can be removed, allowing the vehicle to operate as a four-door convertible. The diesel engine fires easily, even when cold, with only slight warming of the glow plugs, and idles smoothly without smoke. The four-speed gearbox has the longer gearing used in the last of the Series III's, allowing cruising speeds of more than 65mph, and everything on the vehicle works exactly as it should. All lights, all gauges, all switches... everything. The vehicle has been recently fully serviced, with four new Michelin tires and tubes, new engine oil and filter, new transmission fluid, transfer case fluid, front and rear different fluids, coolant, and brake fluid. It also received a new fuel filter, new front and rear brakes, and it is 100% fresh and ready to drive anywhere. In short, this is a stunning, rust-free, and mechanically excellent 109 that has been restored to a wonderful standard. It needs absolutely nothing and is ready to be used every day if desired.
