Purchased this new from the dealer for my wife in 2008. We have owned it ever since. Stored in garage every winter. Summertime play car for her. Very reliable. This car was involved in an accident where she was hit by another driver in the front end. It was repaired at a Ford Dealer Body Shop and shows no signs of the accident, but wanted to be open on that. Installed a Pypes dual exhaust system and a few more dress up details like the side window louvers and the red-white-blue pony on the grill as well as the GT driving lights. Just dressed it up for her a bit. For a V6, this little car sure can run ! On Mar-28-17 at 17:29:36 PDT, seller added the following information: SEVERAL INTERESTED PARTIES HAVE ASKED IF THIS CAR HAS A "RECONSTRUCTED TITLE" DUE TO THE ACCIDENT I MENTIONED ABOVE. The answer is NO. This vehicle has the same title that was issued when we bought it new at the dealer. The accident I mention above was not a serious one and repairs were limited to the front grill, front bumper, one fender and the hood.. The insurance adjustor totalled up damages far less than the value of the car. The only reason I mentioned it above was to be totally open. As I said above, this car was my wife's "baby".. This car has the Ford "Pony Package" which is the reason for the stripes and spoiler and some other dress up items. Came that way from the factory. It also has the Shaker Sound System with a CD player, again, from the factory. As for where the Reserve Price is set, I just checked Kelly Blue Book and nudged it down a little. This car's reserve price is set WELL BELOW KELLEY BLUE BOOK ( more than 10 % under ). If we can't get 10 % under Kelly Blue Book, we'll keep it or sell it elsewhere. As mentioned above, this car is my wife's and I had it titled to her. So she would need to meet the Buyer at a Notary for her to sign the title over. And due to her work schedule, that will not be possible until late this coming week / next weekend. We do not expect to be paid until the title is officially handed over, but that would be late this coming week / next weekend. The deposit ( which does need to be paid promptly ) simply holds the car till we meet at the notary. Winning bidder is welcome to come see the car anytime prior to title transfer and drive it around to make sure they are good with the deal and are satisfied.
