Vehicle Detail
Hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to view my incredible 1991 Pontiac Trans Am. This Trans Am has been wonderful ever since the day I purchased her. It has never had any problems and has never ran hot with me. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere at any given time. It is a two family owned car and has always been garaged. The paint is original and is amazing for it's age. This TA has been kept in doors all of its life when it wasn't being driven. The paint literally still shines like new and there are no dings, dents, scrapes, scratches, or issues with it anywhere. Of course, we all wish it was a GTA, but even though it isn't, it still has plenty of power from the 5.0L Tune Port engine. It doesn't use any oil at all and it literally looks just as good underneath as it does on top. There isn't a drop of rust anywhere on top or bottom of this Trans Am and the undercarriage looks like new. As I was servicing it a few weeks ago, I had it on my lift and everyone that came by was admiring it. A couple of guys claimed that it looked like it just came off of the assembly line in 1991. The floor pans are perfect, the rear end is completely dry, all of the suspension bits and aluminum all look new, and the engine/trans both look glorious from the bottom. Even the exhaust looks great. The original manifolds are excellent and the FlowMaster exhaust is a nice touch. It is a very mild exhaust note and looks great coming out below the rear bumper. That is the only thing on this Trans Am that isn't OEM. I'll do my best to describe this 1991 Trans Am to the best of my ability below. Please look at all of the pictures and read the whole description before making an offer. ExteriorThe exterior is in phenomenal condition with only a tiny amount of blemishes here and there. I have touched them all up, but were talking extremely minimal issues. There is very faint debris marks on the front of the front bumper. These are from rock pecks and bug residue. You have to look very close to find them and what is there is very minor. The hood has a few very small rock chips that have been touched up and there is a small amount of fading on the hood vents. They look great and its probably not worth mentioning, but the red on them is just a hair lighter on them than the rest of the body. The doors are practically flawless. The quarters are perfect with no door dings or issues. The roof and T-tops are superb with no checking, cracking, or problems. They are adjusted perfectly and do not leak. Even the original T-Top shades are in the trunk. They're amazing and the T-Tops really make this Trans Am look great. The back hatch is excellent with no issues, the rear spoiler looks perfect, and the back bumper is superb. There was a Trans Am sticker on the back bumper that you can still faintly see the remnants of and I would've replaced it if I could've found it. The tail lights are perfect and are better than any others that I've seen in person. They have no fading, no cracking, and no issues at all. Please see these exterior pics below. The Engine BayThe engine bay looks amazing with no rust and no issues at all. It looks like it just rolled out of the factory and the red paint still shines just as it should. The 5.0L Tune Port engine looks great under there with no leaks around the valve covers or anywhere else. There are no surprises to be found. Here are the engine bay pics: The InteriorThe interior is amazing with no big issues of any importance. Everything literally looks like new except for a little bit of warpage on the steering wheel air bag. I'm sure its just from the sunlight over the years. Also, the shifter is wrapped in leather from the factory and the seam is starting to break slightly. This isn't an eye sore or anything, but it is happening and I wanted to mention it just because I noticed it. A few amazing things to note inside are how nice the seats, dash, console, and trim is throughout. The pieces that are normally warped and faded are absolutely flawless throughout this Trans Am's interior. Notice the map pocket on the dash.......have you ever seen one that isn't stretched or warped? This one is perfect. One other thing that I should mention is that the radio lights up red just like the rest of the interior and it is a Pontiac cd player, but it isn't original to the car. It looks correct and looks like it could've easily came in the car from the factory, but it did not. It was added later by the previous owner. Here are the interior pics: DocumentationThis Trans Am was loved by every one of its owners. One of the easiest ways to tell that is by looking at the car and secondly by looking that the framed documentation that has stayed with the car all of its life. The original pamphlets, build sheet, window sticker, and other various bits of paperwork has been framed in a wood fame with "our TA" carved into it. Isn't that awesome? Please see the pics below. Here are just a few more random pictures to remind you of just how nice this car actually is: Of course, she is being sold without a warranty and there is no guarantee. I have described my 1991 Trans Am to the best of my ability and I hope she finds a loving home just as she has in the past. I will miss this Trans Am dearly, but I need to sell it to put money toward my other projects. The buyer is responsible for shipping, but I'll be glad to help any way that I can.
