Low mileage 1963 Studebaker GT Hawk purchased from the granddaughter of the original owner. The master cylinder has a slight leak and the carb needs some adjustment, but it does run and drive. I only drove it about five miles ... the transmission shifts smoothly and the engine seems to run nicely. The tires were put on before the car was parked in 2001, but they are bias ply and have flat spots from sitting all those years. The exhaust is intact. Everything seems to work except the clock, cigarette lighter, back up lights and the illuminated plastic tip on the front right fender top(left side lights). Consider this a project that needs only minor work to be road worthy. One front wheel stud is broken(I have a set of five new ones I will include with the car). There is some rust through on the bottom rockers. The floors are solid except for a couple small areas at the outer edge near the door front. The rust can be easily patched. The trunk and frame are solid. There are a few rust spots on the body that will need addressed. The paint is not good, the car was repainted about 30 years ago. Must be picked up within three weeks of sale date. I have had so many questions about condition and if the car can be driven home....please read the listing. The car has been sitting since 2001, the tires have flat spots etc. This car needs to be gone through to find and address all problems before driving any distance. The brakes stop the car, but the master cylinder has a leak. I drove it a few miles just to test the basic operation. This is a project car. Plan on hauling the car home unless you live very close to me. The car has a Maryland plate because it was laying in my garage and I put it on to drive it down the road. I have a PA title in my name.
