2001 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra This car is almost new because of the total miles I have driven it... IT ONLY HAS 1179 TOTAL MILES! It has been garage kept and under a cover always. I have kept it sealed (unless I open it to start it every week and let it idle for 5-10 minutes to keep the battery charged). It even has the new car smell! The passenger front seat and back seats have not been sat in. Likewise the trunk has not been used either. This car is as mint as can be expected with it's use and extreme care. I have all paperwork, original Window Sticker, 3 SVT Brochures (1 is single page), SVT Owners Manuals and the extra set of Keys. Description Of Vehicle This particular year is special because Ford didn't make a SVT Cobra in 2000 (because of the HP problem and recalls) and did not make a 2002 Cobra because they were behind schedule for the production run (only a small window to produce these limited amount of special vehicles). Another thing that makes them desirable is they are less complex than that of the 2003 and newer Cobras (they are naturally aspirated - no super charger), have all the bugs worked out from the 1999 models and get better gas mileage to boot! Don't think for a second that these cars are slow - they are not. 13.5 seconds in the quarter mile bone stock. I have a friend that put a full exhaust (headers, x-pipe and cat backs), new air filter (just the filter - a K&N), had a chip installed and dyno'ed and tuned - then took it to Fontana and made his best pass of 12.8 secs.
