I am selling my 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI Sedan. I absolutely hate to sell this car, but my wife wanted to get a newer ML CDI and I'm keeping hers. We have owned the car 2 years I am a Mercedes-Benz mechanic so this car has always had meticulous service. This car has soooo much power and great fuel economy. It will easily gets 41 MPG on the highway at 80 MPH and I get 37.8 in town. I only use Liqui Moly Top Tech European Car Formula full synthetic oil for changes and the car still has several thousand miles before its next change. This vehicle is ready to go and hit the road anywhere in continental U.S. right now. In the last year the following parts/service have been replaced: Engine oil and filter serviced. New fuel and air filters, engine mounts, transmission mount, front/rear ceramic brake pads and rotors, brake fluid flush with the (Factory recall replacement) of the SBC Brake Controller Module, transmission service with filter change, Water Pump and coolant flush, cabin filter, differential service with Mobil 1 Syn Differential Limited Slip Fluid, lower ball joints, upper ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, upper and lower control arms, both front lower thrust arms, and all 4 shocks with Sachs shock absorbers. The inlet port shut off motor was just replaced last week with an OEM Mercedes. This is the most common component failure on the diesels, after 200k it finally gave up. Problem solved and the car will run trouble free for many many miles. The dash is free of service and warning lights. The car has had the rear bumper repainted from prior owner getting rear ended, no damage remains. The 4 tires are 2 weeks old Toyo Touring All season triple snowflake performance for all seasons. The buyer can fly in and drive this car anywhere in the U.S. confidently. If they like I can scan it in your prescence with the MB Star Diagnostic tool to prove it is trouble free. Very nice car for the purchase price with a low reserve. This auto will last many more years. This is the best Mercedes Diesel made to date, the inline 6 is far more powerful than the newer V6 diesel. I absolutely hate to part with my car, but I have 4 diesels and it will sit and not be used. I am keeping my other ML Diesel because I have a large boat that I pull so I tossed a coin and the car lost.
