2007 Hyundai Entourage minivan, Limited Edition, purchased in November 2008 from King Hyundai in Deerfield Beach, Florida and maintained there until we relocated to Maryland. (It is very similar to the Kia Sedona minivan.) CLEAN TITLE in hand, car is registered in our names in Maryland, only 133k miles. 2 previous owners, including us. Credit union lien was paid off years ago. We performed over $2,000 of repairs after inspection to have this vehicle registered in Maryland two years ago, but a coolant leak in the engine has caused the engine to start burning coolant. Meineke Rockville thinks that the head gaskets need to be changed, but we've already bought a replacement vehicle so it's time to let this one go. The car still starts up fine and the engine runs ok - we actually drove it from Meineke to our house (less than a mile away), at night in the cold, and the engine ran fine, although it burned coolant and generated white smoke. So the car can still be driven provided there's still coolant in the system. The car starts and idles without a problem. Quite a bit of white smoke comes out of the exhaust but it settles down after about 1-2 minutes to a slow but steady stream - nothing too crazy. I idled the car for about 20 minutes when a potential buyer (mechanic) came to inspect it and after 20 mins the coolant level had barely gone down. The check engine light remained OFF the entire time and the coolant/engine/oil gauges were normal. There is no coolant in the oil and it's not burning any oil either. Also, the transmission shifts fine. 4 new tires - 235/60R17 Sumitomo HTR Enhance L/X (T-Speed Rated) - were ordered from Tirerack.com and fitted in December 2015. New (replacement) battery from Costco was fitted within the past couple of years. AC repaired (cost nearly $1000 @ Meineke) and blows super cold. Brakes replaced @ Meineke as well - car stops on a dime. Heat also works fine. Cloth interior is in good shape. All original carpets are included but could use a deep clean, as could all of the seats, especially the back seats. 2 removable, heavy-duty, comfy Captain seats in the middle, three rows of seats. Seats 7 people in comfort with plenty of leftover space for luggage and pets. This was our daily driver so we basically fixed anything that went wrong on it mechanically, regardless of cost, either at Meineke Rockville or Pavy's Auto Service (Gaithersburg) while in Maryland. Can't begin to list all of the amenities of this Limited Edition: heated front seats, electric everything (except a power liftgate), premium stereo with DVD player (including remote), both original factory keys with remote openers, 6-disc CD player, etc etc etc. Other items needing attention, besides the engine issue: - missing top of gear shift lever (fell off, we have it somewhere)- driver side sliding door handle broke off- left sliding door only opens manually- small chip in windscreen/windshield (can be repaired)- Two (2) TPMS sensors need to be replaced- Air Bag light is on It has some very minor scrapes and dents, as most 10-year-old cars do. It's got great pickup for a front-wheel-drive vehicle and the Continuously Variable Transmissions (CVT) auto/manual 5-speed gearbox made it a joy to drive around the city as well as at highway speeds. We typically averaged 300+ miles on a 20-gal tank of gas, which for a car of this size is pretty good for mixed city/highway driving.
