1960 Porsche 356B T5 Cabriolet. VIN # 153494 We have a clear Pennsylvania title. It is branded "Mileage Exempt" as the speedo only registers five digits. This was used as a race car and has an SVRA log book. It was raced at a number of Pennsylvania Hill Climbs, as well as the tracks at Sebring and Watkins Glenn. The race engine is no longer with the car. Body; The body will need to be stripped and restored. It has all of the usual race car dents and repairs. There is body filler from previous repairs. (see photos of the car up on a lift) There is a roll bar in place. There are no lights or bumpers with the car. The engine with the car is apart in boxes. It is a 1959 1600 Super # 84278 It is not complete. (see photos) They did save the original windshield frame. It is with the car but not attached. There is a used windshield glass, rubber gasket and set of trim moldings with the car. The previous owner gathered parts to restore the car to street specs but did not pursue the project. There is a pair of rough 356B seat frames included as well as the racing seat. There is a pair of rear seat bottoms and a single piece back rest with the car. A new wood bow for the top is in the car. There is no cabriolet top frame. Instead there is an original Removable Hardtop with the car that has its glass but will need some rust repair. The alloy wheels are not factory Porsche but are period correct. It still has it's drum brakes. It's not a Speedster but a car worthy of restoration.
