Please read completely... ***** Just uploaded TRANSMISSION INFORMATION*** 2008 Passet was bought in 12/14 at 94,332 miles. New tires at that time and drove great. Started having issues in spring 2015 with overheating. Had to have new engine put in Summer 2015. Bought rebuilt engine from LKQ Auto parts 7/15. Less than 1 week after getting car back... it just stopped... we were told it needed a new transmission. At this point we figured that since the car was in great shape otherwise and had a new engine we might as well spend the extra money and have it put in and then we should be good for years. Bought transmission from LKQ Auto parts also and will try to post that info as well. 1 month later it started overheat. We are now told it needs a new water pump due to a swelled seal. Cost will be about $700. We are done. While I realize that may be a foolish decision since most EVERYTHING has been replaced with new or lesser mileage parts, my daughter and I know nothing about cars (obviously) and we want no more worries. I sure it will be a great deal for someone that knows cars or has connections... but we do not. It is truly a well cared for and beautiful car. Since bought 26 months ago about 18k miles has been put on it. We are located in Wilmington, NC and it would need to be towed. Please ask any questions PRIOR to bidding. Thanx so much!
