Honda CX 500 custom. Clean PA title, third owner. I have had this bike for 5 years, the bike has been serviced, cleaned carbs, new plugs and wires, new starter, new speedo cable, newer battery, cooling system was flushed and filled with new. I bought this bike at a private auction and just found a note book from the original owner, with notes from new with all the miles, oil changes and gas fill ups -- really cool. 29,297 miles. most of the miles were put on from new to 1997 -- since it has had a few thousand miles racked up. Shaft driven, water cooled. Cruser pedals, I have removed the windscreen and adjustable back rest (if you want them for the right price they are included). I bought this bike with the idea of Cafeing it (I would have to pay someone to do it) but this will have to be a project for someone else. The bike is not currently inspected, but should pass easily. There are a couple concerns, one the tank has a pretty big dent that happened prior to my ownership. It does leak some oil after ridden hard, it seems to be coming from the top end of the motor. The Motor pules strong. Shifts smooth and runs great. This bike is not a show bike, it has been ridden and has been maintained. It shines, but could shine more. I will not ship the bike. The bike is listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I recommend you view the bike in person, I will do my best to answer questions. A $250 deposit (through PayPal) is required within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The bike should be picked up with in 10 days. I will not do any funky title stuff. So please do not ask.
