The body of the car is arrow straight with excellent seams and body alignment, great fit and finish. The two stage black paint looks great with a deep high gloss finish throughout the body of the car. All chrome and stainless have been replaced with new along with all glass and weather stripping. The complete interior has been replaced with new also and the dash restored with new gauges and stainless inserts, all chrome hardware has also been replaced with new. This bel air has had a new air conditioning unit installed to keep you cool on those hot summer days along with a new AM-FM stereo. All gauges and lights work properly including the clock. The power train consist of the original 283 V8 that was completely rebuilt into a smooth running engine and the original powerglide transmission was replaced with a more highway friendly turbo 350 automatic. The car is also equipped with rack and pinion power steering and power disc brakes. The original generator has also been replaced with a more efficient alternator. The car runs and drives great and with the updated features it really makes for a great weekend cruiser.
