Thank you for looking at our machine. ATV: This is a 2014 Honda Foreman 500 EPS Manual Shift 4x4 Utility ATV. The Foreman line of ATV's are Honda's "work horse" line of ATV's. They are one of the most dependable ATV's ever made and they can literally last a lifetime. It starts with the 500cc class, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, OHV four-stroke engine. Surprising torque coupled with the manual shift transmission allows this single cylinder work horse to get the job done with power to spare. There really hasn't been a major engine change within this machine for quite a long time. That's because when you get it right like Honda did with this one, you leave it alone. This is one of very few ATV engines that will go beyond 10,000 miles with just regular maintenance. It also has EFI - Electronic Fuel Injection. EFI makes hard cold starting a thing of the past. It automatically adjusts the air/fuel ratio for temperature and altitude so it's always at the correct ratio to provide a smooth power delivery as well as easy starting. No choke or carburetor to worry about. Just turn the key, hit the start button, put it in gear and you're gone. This is a MAJOR improvement for Honda as there is no more extremely cold natured hard starting. One of the best features of this machine is the Electronic Power Steering (EPS). No more fighting the handlebars. Not only does the EPS allow for easier steering, but it actually adds a little bit of safety. Have you ever been riding along and caught a tree root or rock with only one front tire and had the handlebars almost ripped out of your hands? The EPS system will absorb virtually all of this tendency in those types of situations. It is truly amazing how much of a value EPS is once your accustomed to using it. Once you ride a machine with EPS, you'll probably never want to go back to anything without it. This Foreman is the Manual Shift version. Manual shift is a great option because there are no expensive hydraulic pump transmissions to replace, no electric motors to short out, or any belts to slip and break. To be clear, even though you do shift gears with your foot, there is NO clutch lever to operate with your hand. These are the ultimate in simplicity and allow complete control of what gear your machine stays in at any given time. Unlike many older Honda vehicles, these Foreman models can be taken in and out of 4 wheel drive simply by moving a lever on the side of the gas tank. This allows for easier steering and less wear and tear on the machine itself. Of course digital instrumentation, racks, and a trailer hitch are standard equipment. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on and ride every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Of course it does come with a clean title. Condition: This machine is in GREAT condition. It has 1834 original miles and 247 engine hours of use. The engine is perfect and runs great. The chassis and suspension are in excellent shape with nothing damaged, bent, or broken. It revs perfectly and runs great with no misses, noises, leaks, or smoke. The brakes all function perfectly and the suspension is nice and tight with no play in the wheel bearings, tie-rod ends, etc.The tires are in great shape and the wheels look great.This machine does have some normal light scratches here and there, but this is a used machine so that should be expected. There are absolutely zero cracks or broken plastic and this machine obviously hasn't been rolled or wrecked. The only blemishes we could find were some heavier scratching on the rear fenders. This is very common on ATVs and they are simply a cosmetic blemish. We have even provided pictures below so you can see exactly what the scratches look like. Overall, it is a very nice ATV that seems to have been well maintained and looked after. Anyone who buys this Foreman is going to get a great ATV at a great price. Everything on it functions exactly as it should. We are right off Interstate 75, 10 miles North of Lexington, KY and 75 miles South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check, or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the listing's close. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. (Except in West Virginia). Thinking you can avoid sales tax by purchasing out of state is an urban legend and will cause you heartache. Trust us. Just pay the sales tax and forget it.If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exemption for farm/agricultural use.If it ships, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with clean paperwork that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free.
