Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my very nice 1969 350 scrambler with only 3500 original miles.!When I 1st bought the bike I was skeptical about the mileage for such an old bike, but if you take a close look at its condition and the fact that it came with the original tires still mounted on it,made a believer out of me...the rear tire was recently replaced however for safety(dry rotted),but the factory front Bridgestone 3.00 -19 tire is still on it with good tread left ,but being almost 50 years old it would probably be a good idea to replace it also if your using it as a rider.Pictures pretty much tell the story, but I'll mention a few things.First if you notice the left fork ear holding the headlight,it isn't quite perfect(dented) so im throwing a perfect one with the bike(shown in pics.)also I have the reflector that goes on the front fender that I m throwing in..as far as I know 69 was the only year that had 2 little holes on the front fender to mount this on...I took it off cause I think the bike looks cleaner without it ,but I'm sure collectors would want it for originality/also I have 2 N.O.S. chrome side cover grommets to replace the ones in the covers now just for a little more bling value...plus i have an owners manual thats included. The bike runs, but it seems the left cyl. has a carb issue so I took it apart a noticed the brass float had a hole in it,so I ordered a new float which should be here any day now,it has good compression + great spark though...These 69 CL 350s with the stripe at the bottom of the gastank don't show up here on Ebay very often + are are mostly just traded between collectors so don't miss out on this unique opportunity...I see alot more 68's for sale then true 69's...I believe the're the rarest of the bunch(CL 350's) only being made with the lower stripe on the gastank for just a few months before moving on to the 70 model. As with most classic bikes, the 1st or 2nd year of manufacture are the valuable ones(69-70 Honda 750/69-70 H1,72-73 H2 are good examples)and the later years are just for ridin.Just think back to 1969,what a great year to be alive...WOODSTOCK the biggest party of the century,EASY RIDER was playing at the movies,MUSCLE CARS were at their peak + and we LANDED ON THE MOON for gosh sake!!I was a Junior in High school and the only thing I was worried about was being drafted to Vietnam when I got out of school!(Just missed it/ whew!!) Anyway good luck bidding + if you have any ??'s email me or call my cell# 215 901-1410. Thanks for lookin' Mike. On Jan-29-17 at 13:03:28 PST, seller added the following information: Just added a few more pics. The 1 pic. shows my carb. float(rectangular shape) and the new float that I just bought off Ebay which happens to be completely different(round shape)., even though the ad said it is correct for 69CL350 carbs.! Turns out that some early honda. carbs. in 68 and some in 69 used these rare rectangular bronze floats...every other year/model honda CL/CB 350 used the round floats! It seems my bike has some rare features that even I didn't know about... anyway, I'm reordering the right floats today...the bronze floats aren't made anymore but they make replacements out of some other material...guess I could solder the original float + fix it that way also..I'll figure out something....BTW if you have a CLYMER Honda repair/service manual for 250 & 350 twins (1964-1974) the bike they put on the front cover is my bike!(Same year/color/model that is) They must have thought (as I do) that my model/year/color was the best representative of all the Honda 350's ever made!(which it is! ) I just happened to notice that when i was lookin at the carb. in the manual-cool Mike.
