Very dependable and safe little diesel bug with just over 162k miles (which is about 1/2 the life expectancy for the VW diesels). Exterior is in really good condition with only a few minor scratches and parking lot dings. The headlights were recently replaced and a new battery just installed. Will need new tires shortly. I drive this car daily and am not afraid to take it anywhere. I drive it to New Jersey every month for military duty. A lot of the plastic trim pieces in the interior are cracked or broken, but the headliner and arms rests have been recovered and are in good shape. The upholstery could use a good cleaning, but has no rips, tears, or permanent stains. Non-smoker car. Clean this little baby up and send your graduate off to college in it and it'll last until she graduates and can buy her own. Timing belt, water pump, lower idler arms, and A/C system has all been replaced in the last 2 to 4 years. I had planned on keeping this car forever, so it has been meticulously maintained from a mechanical standpoint. Only selling because I'm moving and have too many vehicles to transport.
