Up for auction is my 1971 Porsche 914. This car runs, drives and looks great. Sure to be a standout at any cars and coffee, this Porsche 914 is a real looker in it's bright yellow paint with a very clean black interior. The seats have been recovered in a high quality black vinyl and the carpet looks to be pretty new. The dash board has some cracks, as most of these cars do, and it is missing the passenger speaker cover, but it's a very nice interior overall. The engine is strong, has been updated with a set of Dellorto Carburetors and it starts right up every time, but the carbs could use a tune as it idles a little high. The transmission shifts smooth without any grinding and the clutch is strong. The brakes work well, but the rotors are warped and should be replaced. the speedometer doesn't work and we are not aware of the actual mileage. The battery tray and hell hole have some surface rust, but look to be in pretty good shape. The longitudinals show signs of rust repair and are missing the jacking points (as seen in the pictures). The floor boards have also had some rust repair, but they don't look too bad. Both trunks look to be in good shape.
