We purchased this car with a specific resto-mod project in our heads, however after talking to the shop that does our work, with the two other cars we own that they are working on, it will take them 2-3 years before they can start this project and the storage costs we pay for indoor a/c storage per month is ridiculous, so we are putting the car up for sale. The auction is for a 1961 Dodge Phoenix 2 dr hardtop. Mileage is unknown. I haven't looked at the car for more than 5 minutes except for when the transport truck dropped it off into the storage unit. What you see in the photos is what you get. If there is something you don't see, assume it isn't there. I have no idea when the car last ran or if it runs now ( it didn't matter to me since we were going to install a new drivetrain from a wrecked Challenger I have ). Yes there is rust, just like any other 50 year old Mopar. Expect to do a complete restoration on the car, or use it as a valuable source of parts, or modify it like we were going to do. You will have to arrange for in-op transport for the car It must be removed from the enclosed storage unit it is currently in, within a week of the purchase, otherwise you will be responsible for the monthly rental amount that the unit costs me.
