Very clean rare barn find, this FJ40 is ready for a little bit of fix up or a full restoration. The good: original paint, inside and out, original engine and 3 speed transmission, good oil pressure, both headrests (which are hard to find for some reason), original headliner in decent shape, rear seats, very clean bright paint inside, good hardtop, all good doors and correct for the year, spare tire carrier. The bad: some rust through below doors, surface rust on fenders, seats are ripped, runs but has slight knock, no brakes (needs wheel cylinders). The ugly: rear bottom sill completely rusted through, see pics. ($150 part that needs welded in). I would love to fix this right but just have too many projects.
