Very nice, original 1969 Jaguar XKE roadster. Sable brown exterior with black top and interior. One repaint in 1975. Straight and solid original sheet metal body. Original leather upholstery showing a separation on one seam in the bottom of the driver's seat and two very small,barely noticeable splits at the extreme ends of the dash pad at the meeting point with the windshield area. Original drive train in good working order. Choke pull out lever needs adjustment to stay in position during initial start up. Shifting and clutch engagement is correct. Frame is still in the original body matching color. Convertible top is tight and without tears. Tires are very good and original wire wheels retain good shine. A spare wire wheel/tire and an original grille guard are also included. Original radio is in working condition. Gauges all function accurately. I purchased this car from a friend who has owned the car since 1975. The car has always been garaged. As with most any vehicle of this vintage, there will be some attention required to elevate the level of mechanical, interior, and exterior condition to an excellent status. However, this XKE is being offered at a reasonable reserve figure allowing for future improvements. The Jaguar is being sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied.
