This is not your normal 1977 Corvette. Gone is the weak late 70's motor. It was replaced in 2005 by a 355 cu.in S.B.C, with Eagle Crank steel crankshaft, black silicon pistons, speed pro heat treated pushrods, Edelbrock Torker II aluminum intake and Edelbrock aluminum heads, morose oil pump, Holley carb 650 cfm, MSD Ignition, and more on the engine. Also new exhaust and new Eckler High Performance Suspension in 2005. Looking at close to 400 hp versus 180 hp for the base Corvette engine in 1977. There isn't another late 70's Corvette that sounds as good as this one. To hear it and feel it is to fall in love with naturally aspirated horsepower. The car isn't perfect (although the engine is awesome). Interior carpet looks new but it needs work on: the right window motor, chipped and bubbled paint in a few different spots, dash where aftermarket speakers reside, the rear right caliper has had a leak in the o-rings but the vehicle is not currently leaking. This car has over $8000 in improvements and the highlights truly are the engine, exhaust and suspension.
