Up for auction is my 1964 Pontiac Catalina. This is a very nice driver quality car. I have owned this car for the last 10 years or so. I found it at a little gas station close to where I live. I purchased the car and have had a ball with it ever since. When I bought the car it had a previous salvage title because it had been in a hail storm. I had the hood, roof, and trunk painted not long after I purchased the car. There is still several little dings, mainly down the drivers side off the body. There are a few bubble beginning on the passenger rear quarter down low. The car is still quite the head turner though. It is a real attention getter with only around 92k on the odometer. The interior is in terrific shape, as is all the glass. As I said the paint is in driver quality shape but still looks as good as most of the cars you see out there. The original 389 2bbl is still in the car and runs well. In my 10 years of ownership, I haven't had to turn a bolt on the car. It still has the Slim Jim transmission, which seems to work out fine. It is a pretty comfortable old car to drive around in. Before I bought the car someone put dual exhaust with flowmasters on it. It sounds pretty good but is not too loud at all. It has 15inch rally II wheels. Tire tread looks good but the tires are old, and I believe one to have a broken belt. This could make someone a very nice cruiser.
