Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1972 Pontiac Lemans. This is an extremely clean and original old Pontiac. This car still wears its original Quezal Gold Paint, Original Vinyl roof, and original interior from the headliner down to the carpet. I purchased this car a couple of years back from the original owner who bought it from Red Holman Pontiac in Michigan in 1972. She was a little old lady who cried as we pulled off with the car. She made me promise to keep it in a garage. She said that they car had never spent a single night outside of a garage. The paint still has a pretty good shine after I buffed it a little. There are some imperfections, which are pictured. First off, on the passenger side rear quarter, there is beginning to show some bubbles. They really do not seem to bad but I have attached a picture so you can see for yourself. Also, on the drivers side lower fender there is a surface rust beginning to show through the paint, but I did attach a picture for you to see. Lastly, for the negatives behind the rear window, under the vinyl top you can ever so slightly see a few bumps showing up. Overall the car still looks good and garners alot of attention whenever I drive it. I have taken it to a few cruise-ins and just driven it around and it gets alot of compliments wherever I go. The interior is 100% original and is in like new shape. Sits comfortable and really looks nice. The only non-original pieces are the floor mats. The appear to be 70s vintage aftermarket mats. The trunk and floor pans are very solid. The car runs out and drives very well with just a tad under 50k miles on the car. It still has its original 350 cu in Pontiac engine and T350 trans. Both are as original as the day they left the assembly line. The car runs out great and I have rebuilt the 2bbl carb, replace the plugs, coil, and points. The factory Air Conditioning worked great. I ran it all this past summer when I would take the car out cruising. Really the only modification to the car is the true 2.5 inch dual exhaust with Flowmasters. If you are looking for a nice, original car to cruise around this one is it. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. I encourage interested parties to come and look at the car if you wish. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping and pick up. Winning bidder must pay $500 dollars immediately at close of auction with remainder paid within 7 days of auction end. Car will not move until paid in full and payment has cleared my bank. I will accept paypal, cash preferably, or cashier check.
