While the performance capabilities of the car must be experienced at the limits to be fully understood, the GT350R is docile enough to be driven around town with ease.  The down to business interior features supportive Recaro buckets with Miko suede inserts. The sporty steering wheels is also suede wrapped and has a flat bottom. The interior aluminum trim is all part of the Shelby package, as are the Track Aps package which feature and Electric Line lock and Launch Control. As you drive, you can receive performance metrics on the large message center located directly below the instrument cluster.  The ride of the Shelby feels nimble, extremely responsive and you can dial in throttle-on oversteer at will. The 19" Carbon wheels greatly reduce unsprung weight, and the massive 305 front, and 315 Cup 2 rear tires provide inspiring amounts of grip. The suspension has been completely reworked from its Mustang GT roots with the MagneRide damping system, heavy duty springs, and beefy sway bars. Different drive modes allow another level of fine tuning from inside the cockpit, and in Track mode, you really need to get the car out of sorts in order for any level of interference to click in.  Ford's new 5.2L Voodoo motor raps out to a shrill 8,250 RPM, at which point there will be no question that you are coming in hot. The TR3160 Tremec 6-Speed has a serious as death feel when you work it through the gears, and the 3.73 rear end launches the car out of the hole.
