Moving is forcing me to downsize my vehicle collection so I am selling my 1969 fj40. I purchased it from the original owner. It has been in New Mexico its whole life and was purchased new in Santa Fe. For it's age it's quite clean and straight and has faired better than most. I have done some basic body work patching up the major rust spots (see pictures, where brown primer is). I cut out and replaced the rear sill and a small amount of both rear quarter panels. Also there is a patch below the passenger door and driver door. I have not done any "finishing" of these patches, simply primed them. Overall the body and frame are in quite good condition. The interior is in good shape. I had the front seats reupholstered in the identical material and color as the original seats. Although the rear seats are not shown installed in the pictures I have them but have removed them as I was also planning to have them restored, they are in rough condition but fully functional and all there. Mechanically this Cruiser is really solid. Strong engine (F145), 4x4 works, tracks and rolls smoothly. I drive it a couple times a week, and it lives in a nice heated garage when it's not being used. I have replaced the radiator, belts, hoses, plugs, wires, water pump and I installed a complete new exhaust system (all within last year). I have also completely rebuilt the front brakes ( they could use some adjustment as it takes a couple pumps to fully engage). It's has a new set of BFG KM2 31x10.5 r15.This is a very original FJ40, the only things that are not original is the radiator (I will include the original) the rims (I will also in include the original set of 5 rims).The speedometer does not work so exact mileage is unknown, the odometer also does not work, and neither do the windshield wipers. A great candidate for a full restoration or just enjoy as is for pure fun and utility!
