Up for a no reserve auction is a 1997 E300 diesel Mercedes. I have owned this car for the last 5-6 years and have driven it all over on trips. I have run this on regular diesel and Bio Diesel. Since I have owned it I have changed the glow plugs, injectors, front ball joints, and brakes. It currently had about 230K mile on it. I am putting this up for a no reserved auction because I just don't drive it enough anymore. I would not be afraid to take in on any trip. With that said, there are three issues that I am aware of that will need some attention. The ABS light will come on sometimes, I had replace the brake light switch with an aftermarket one and I am pretty sure that is the cause. The check engine light will also come on intermittingly in the cold weather, the code references the crossover valve in the intake. Finally, the last time I had it out this summer, the power steering feels hard at an idle, the pump may be getting weak. The body is in great shape as well as the interior. Cleaned and waxed this care looks great and rides as a Mercedes should. I encourage you to come and inspect it if you are interested. I reserve the right to cancel the auction early if someone comes and makes me a reasonable offer, other than that it will go to the highest bidder. The car will need to be paid for immediately but it will not leave my possession until a proper PA transfer has been done. There is a notary within three miles of my home.
