I'm selling my much loved 1987 Land Rover Defender 90 2.25litre Diesel engine. This 19j engine was the most popular engine option right up to the mid-1980s and established a worldwide reputation for reliability and longevity. The engine's relatively low compression ratio and general strong design made it tolerant of poor quality fuel and oil as well as infrequent servicing. This Defender 90 is right hand drive (RHD). Please remember this vehicle is almost 30 years old so it is not a new car, however, I can see no reason why this Landy will not give the new owner many years of reliable motoring with a load of added fun. This is certainly the most sexy truck you can drive. This Solid Defender 90 is a very interesting project for any LR enthusiast. KNOWN PROBLEMS WITH THE TRUCK Cosmetic - Doors Hinges need some cleaning and New Bolts as well as entire paint job. - Headliner must be cleaned (Original) - Cheap paint job on truck needs to be redone (See pictures for more detail) (The truck has been kept the most original way possible to maintain the scence) Mechanical - Slight oil leak (Typical in all defenders) - Requires New Shocks and Springs (The current still working but both must be replaced)
