1968 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE…EXCELLENT CONDITION!! Excellent condition 1968 Mustang Convertible the VIN is 8F03C104461. Original 289 C code, 2V engine, C4 3 Speed Automatic, Power Steering, and Power Top. The rear end is a conventional 2.79 which is great for cruising on long or short trips. The body and undercarriage is straight, solid and RUST FREE! This Mustang underwent a total restoration in 2005 and still looks new today. Less than 6,000 miles since the full restoration. The White Power Top is like new and goes up and down flawlessly. It seals very well against the windows when they are up as you can see in the pictures. This top also has the optional rear GLASS window. The engine, steering, suspension, and all other mechanical functions of the car operate as they should. The paint is a shiny as you see in the pictures, it looks a mile deep. The red exterior and white interior are the perfect and most wanted color combination wanted on a vintage Mustang like this one. It was originally a blue car, but there are NO signs of blue anywhere and you would never know it if not told. It has been detailed to show standards from top to bottom, including the undercarriage. When it was restored, they installed optional frame stiffeners to firm up the undercarriage. These could be removed if you want, but they do firm up the body and eliminate any torque twist of the body from the powerful 289 V-8 engine. The current mileage on this Mustang is 50,572, it was said to be, and seems to be original. The body is very straight and is rust and bondo free. The Paint is VERY smooth and shiny. The Doors, Hood and Trunk open and shut like new. The windows open and close with ease. All of the weather stripping is good and soft, not brittle or cracked. Notice that ALL of the body panels have excellent alignment and fit as new, with correct gaps at all points. The interior is NEW and in EXCELLENT shape. The carpet is new, molded, correct loop carpeting. The Dash Pad and Dash Trim is New. The seat covers and seat belts are NEW and perfect! ALL of the knobs and controls are like new. ALL of the gauges are in working order. The front and rear bumpers are new, and perfect. This Mustang has been well cared for, well maintained and garaged all of its life.
