Black on black, good body and paint, very nice interior with excellent soft leather and nice wood. Many upgrades- 20” BBS Detroit wheels with great tires (a $4500+ set), cross-drilled brakes all around, XKR mesh grill, headliner replaced, and only 100k original miles on the chassis. Runs and drives but needs engine work- head gasket is blown (coolant in the oil). Great fixer upper or convert to GM LS1 power (using Jaguar Specialties kit for that). Once running right this would be a fantastic car to own- imagine blasting down the coastal highway carving up the turns like you're on rails, with the premium sounds ringing true...... Been in California since day 1-this is not a new car but in very nice shape. Runs and drives well- steers straight, stops straight- but due to head gasket issue has not been driven far. Air conditioning and cruise control have not been tested for obvious reasons. The premium sound system with trunk-mounted CD changer works nicely (power antenna is intermittent). All power systems work well- power windows, mirrors, seats, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, etc.,. Very nice body and paint, has XKR mesh grill and XKR badges,- with these wheels the car looks awesome. The interior is in wonderful shape- hardly any wear- seats are soft and smooth with no breaks or wholes, console lid is mark free, wood is beautiful, headliner was replaced, door panels and dash are unmarked, and carpets are nice. It’s hard to believe this is a 19 year old car…Note- this car was owned by a customer of Jaguar Specialties who was planning to do the XK8-LS1 conversion. He bought the conversion kit but plans changed and the project was never started. The kit can be purchased with the car at a discount if a buyer is interested. The last pic is of that wheel style (and is actually one of the wheels of that set- all in good shape). If you're interested in this option, give a call to discuss further- 408 839 5569 Small issues: the ABS light comes on and off occasionally (this is a typical problem for these models when they sit unused for a while- usually goes away with regular use.), right side wheels have some curb scrapes on outer trim, right front fender rubbed against a garage door opening and needs slight adjustment (an internal metal bracket needs straightening (did not even break the paint and the repair does not require paint work), key scratch on the driver’s door, and a few dings here and there. The car has clean California title and is on planned non-operation so there are no back registration or penalties. It comes with the owner’s manual, one key and one remote (which works occasionally- likely needs a new battery) Shipping- Buyers should plan to have the car shipped to their location- I have found that Able Auto Transport (1.800.340.0951) has the best rates The car is sold “AS-IS”, WHERE-IS”, No Warranty of any kind. All required repairs are the responsibility of the new owner. All testing required for registration of the car in the buyer’s home state (including California) are the buyer’s responsibility. California buyers are responsible for emissions inspection required for registration- that can take place only after repairs are made and all repair costs, as needed, are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
