Up for sale is the amazing muscle car I planned on keeping forever, but I just bought a truck for outdoor activities & she doesn't get driven much these days so she's for sale to a good home! SUPER LOW RESERVE! The badges on the side of the ride say it all-- "Last of the Breed". 2002 is the last year these gems were produced, and this is the most desirable variety of everything to have! Ask anyone in the know! Car had over $8k worth of professional performance work done by 1st owner, and I've put several upgrades into it myself being only the 2nd owner. The car is not stock, but care was taken from day 1 to make it very street friendly & has a perfect balanced blend of efficiency, raw power, unique aggressive stylish looks and throw-your-head-back sheer performance you just can't find in the new Camaros and others. It's a true collectible modern day muscle car which is why it's held it value and has even appreciated upward several times since I've owned it. - Low mileage for this year, 92k - Over 387 Horsepower TO THE REAR WHEELS, 400 Ft/Lbs. of torque. Yeah, it's fast! - Has a street friendly cam/professional tune that idles beautifully & makes consistent power all the way through the power band, however it was installed by 1st owner, don't know the specs. No other internal modifications. SES light has been on for 10+ years due to unneccessary air pump system being customarily disabled w/ long tube header installation, no issues, car has always and continues to run like a champ! - Full exhaust including SLP long tube headers, Texas Speed y-pipe w/ high flow cats, and SLP Loudmouth modular (swapable muffler) catback. Sunset Orange was only available on 2001-2002 F-bodys, stands out! I get compliments on it all the time & guarantee so will you :-) - T-top roof. Fun and perfect for cruising with the radio up on a sunny day! No leaks! - Has only seen the drag strip once in my possession. Pulled high 12's. I've never done burnouts, donuts, street raced it etc. I just like to put the pedal down from time to time and utilize the power when needed - UMI Performance adjustable torque arm ensures all the power gets to the pavement - Full stock transmission rebuild w/ upgraded stock corvette Z06 clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel, rear end rebuilt at dealer all around 60k. All the biggies have been handled.- Alternator, Water Pump, Power Steering Pump, window motors, spark plugs/MSD wires also replaced already. - Full maintenance/repair records since I bought it in 2005 as 2nd owner - SLP air box w/ K&N serviceable air filter - Full synthetic oil/all fluid changes including rear end all performed to factory intervals or sooner - Power windows/locks/mirrors/driver's seat. tinted windows - New Brakes, tires over 50% tread depth remaining matching Firestone Firehawk 275/40R17 with orig. premium lightweight aluminum WS6 Factory wheels - New Interstate Battery - Cold A/C - Everything mechanically sound/functional on vehicle including all accessories, power antenna etc- Everything on vehicle is stock except what is specifically listed otherwise - Garaged or kept under a cover the majority of its life. - Many parts have lifetime warranties, can have alignment performed/tires balanced free of charge before you take ownership if desired.- Will throw in to 1st person to use "BUY IT NOW" just as a separate free bonus an array of new in box upgraded performance parts to valued at over $1k retail including Pro 5.0 shifter, ASP underdrive pulleys, UMI subframe connectors, Racetronix Fuel Pump Assy, & JAAM air induction kit The car does have some cosmetic blemishes: -The paint is good on 80% of the car except where it is peeling ONLY on the left front fender and driver's door. It is only peeling here because of a paint repair from where the section was keyed in the previous owner's possession and the repair wasn't done to last under cheap insurance. Have gotten a quote from several shops for $500-750 to have it fixed right. The roof paint has some cracking in a very small section from where it was damaged doing some electrical work underneath. Again a very cheap fix, I just wouldn't see the return on investment fixing paint and then selling it online. It will not need a complete paint job for years to come provided it is taken care of and/or garage kept. NO BODY RUST. 1st photo very/most recent, 2nd is what it looked like soon after I bought it to help you envision full visual potential if desired. -The front part of the dash has cracking in it. It is a replaceable piece called a "dash pad" that can be purchased from oem from the dealer/online for about $200 -Drivers seat has a tear in the backrest. Foam fully intact. Can be repaired at an upholstery shop affordably. All the rest of the seats front/back have no tears and are in good condition. Seat covers in pictures only used for UV protection - Other small miscellaneous items common to these F-bodies (i.e. small crack in the window sills, small rattles/chips) that are rarely noticeable and/or don't affect the overall appearance/functionality of the vehicle I have set the reserve extremely low on this car as well as a below book/market value Buy It Now taking into account its overall condition but not even factoring anything in for the thousands of dollars in upgrades/extras or the desirability of this specific version of the car, as I am serious about selling.
