Up for sale is this 2000 Mercedes CLK430. This car has a SALVAGE TITLE and cannot be legally driven until it has been repaired, inspected, and a reconstructed title issued. I bought this car with the intention of fixing it for myself but unfortunately my friend who was going to do the major repairs is unable to do so now, and I don't have the ability to do it myself. I was going to just part it out, but decided to put it up as-is in case someone else wanted to save it. When I had purchased the car it had been sitting for a while and the battery was dead. I went and purchased a new battery (which will be sold with the car) and drove it about 30 minutes to get it to my house. The cars engine and transmission work well. The drivers side window would need to be replaced if whoever buys the car decides to fix it and not part it out. All the other glass is in good shape and appears to be the original from Mercedes. It looks as if there is a small oil leak coming from the valve cover- which is pretty common. The interior is overall in good shape, there are some threads on the passenger seat that are starting to pull. The back seats look to be in very good condition.
