Up for sale is a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado extended cab ,short bed ,2 wd pickup with 182,009 miles.Exterior color is light autumn wood metallic and interior is neutral shale. It has a 5.0 v8 gas engine that runs good. There are no mechanical problems with the engine other than an a/c leak.It was driven to work every day until reverse gear went out in the automatic transmission. It was towed home and hasn't been driven since the transmission failure.The air conditioning has a leak. There are hail dents in the roof and hood. there is 1 dent on top of right front fender and small dent in ext cab door. There is water in right front headlamp. It needs new tires and a windshield replacement. Left front seat power lumbar is inop.There is some light rust developing on under side of the hood where it contacts the front grille when the hood is closed.Truck is equipped with automatic transmission,a/c,cruise control, power steering, power windows and door locks, left front power seat, antilock brakes, power mirrors,CD player, cassette player, receiver tow hitch,left and right front airbags, center and overhead console,gm bedliner,keyless entry, right side ext cab door,steel chrome wheels, chrome front and rear bumpers.Interior is in very good condition. Carpet has been replaced with GM carpet,dash is not cracked.door trim panels, headliner, seat material are in good condition .Some of the lights are inop on radio but plays fine. CD player and cassette player work. Power door locks and power windows are working.Although only reverse gear is out in transmission and forward gears are working, this vehicle is not drivable due to risk of forward gears failing while driving. This vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty.
