This 2002 Volkswagen EuroVan MV model is a highly sought after fully functional Minivan. The EuroVan was greatly improved in 2001 adding the renowned 2.8L VR6 VW engine with with over 200 horsepower. The MV model offers a unique interior seating environment with rearward facing second row captain chairs, forward facing rear bench that easily converts into a very acceptable bed, side table for impromptu tailgate parties, office work, lunch or other activities. The interior is cavernous, since the fifties VW always did a great job of making more interior space than the outside would seemingly allow. With the rear seat removed a full sheet of plywood will fit in the van. The interior is durable and very comfortable; a great place to see the road from. The driver and front passenger seat command a great view from a higher seating stance than many vans. The seats are comfortable with left and right arm rests. There is automatic front and rear climate control with Ice Cold AC and great heat for all passengers. The second row captain chairs face rearward making this a neat feature that never grows old for kids or a unique situation for business use. This is a versatile interior with plenty of room for all your needs be it business or pleasure. All the interior fabric is clean and free from any rips or tears. The carpet and trim is also in good condition. The exterior of this van is also clean with no rust to be found. It appears to have been garaged and well cared for when it was on the road. The body is straight and there are no major blemishes or issues to describe. The passenger headlight is cracked due to road debris and may be replaced by auction end. Mechanically the engine is strong. The VW VR6 is a very durable and strong engine, its 2.8 liters produces more than ample horsepower and torque; this car cruises easily at any U.S. highway speeds. No major leaks or drive-ability issues with the engine. The transmission is in need of repair. The van operates in third gear only unless shifted through the gears manually. I am not familiar with transmissions; however I would like to think there may be an issue with the gear selector or something electronically since all the gears work well when shifting manually.
