If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling on eBay since 2001 and sell ATV's most every week. Just to be clear-this is a car I have owned for 10 years and is in very good shape.Originally I bought this car 10 years ago to take my Mom to see the Northeasts fall foilage. My dad had just passed away and I asked her if there were any things that she thought she had missed and that is what she had always wanted to do. So after a 2 week journey to see Boston(Freedom trail) Squam Lake-where "on golden Pond" was filmed, The Berkshires, Philadelphia, and then Hershey Pennsylvania her favorite part of the trip was the chocolate factory-before they started farming their chocolate out to Mexico. Go figure.I have kept the car as a memento and used it when I needed to go to the airport or something-which I did a couple of weeks ago. I would trust it to go coast to coast anytime and had the oil recently changed and the transmission serviced. It runs, rides, and drives fine. It should make someone a very good car and with new ones right at $50,000 seems like a bargain. The Eddy Merckx titanium bicycle will not go with the car (it is most likely worth more than the car) I will leave the rack on top if you are a cyclist. Tires are almost new on the back and about 65% on the front. I have the owners manual, etc with the car. This car is not new-but is nice and still something to be proud of. True German quality. On Oct-16-16 at 09:16:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention-when I got it I had Bilstein shocks mounted at all four corners. They put control arm bushings in the left front. The timing belt was replaced right before I bought it, so around 20k ago. On my trip to the airport the cruise control button would work sometimes and not others. I had it looked at and he diagnosed it to the switch on the stalk-around $80 on Pelican Parts. Understand this car is cheap, cheap. 10% of a new one so it is not new. It most likely is as nice as you would ever find one this age,. I have had it in a enclosed building for the last 10 years and drove it occasionally. Ultra reliable and I would drive it anywhere. Will it win the concours at Pebble Beach? not likely.
